The 6 Sigma Standard
DMAIC Methodology: We implement D-M-A-I-C (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) across all OEM/ODM workflows. By stabilizing CTQ parameters in molding and knitting, we achieve near-zero defect rates.
Regulatory Fortress
Validation & Lab Testing
Our biomechanical labs perform multi-stage fatigue, tensile, and durability evaluations. From raw material validation to final product stress tests, we deliver the data-driven evidence required for clinical success.
Global Supply Chain & Continuity
Resilience & Transparency
End-to-End Coordination: From raw material sourcing (yarn, polymers, alloys) to smart warehousing and global logistics, we control the entire value chain. This reduces lead times by 30% compared to fragmented suppliers and ensures material biocompatibility at the source.
Scalable Logistics
With 16,600㎡ of smart warehousing and integrated logistics, we ensure supply chain resilience and shortened lead times for high-volume international programs.
OUR CAPABILITIES
Expertise from prototyping to production.
Product Design & Development
AOFIT’s cross-functional engineering teams support orthopedic programs from ideation and early concept through commercialization. We combine human-factors insight, DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Design for Assembly) expertise, rapid prototyping, and robust risk management within a disciplined, stage-gated project-management framework. A key component of this early strategy is confirming our plan through the FDA Q-Submission process—confirming the regulatory pathway, aligning on testing expectations, and ensuring the right design-control structure for braces, supports, and orthotic devices. Enabled by our integrated Quality Management System, this approach accelerates development while improving product reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory preparedness—giving our customers a clear, validated path from concept to market.
Orthopedic Brace & Support Manufacturing
AOFIT produces complex brace and support systems for post-operative recovery, sports protection, and chronic condition management. Our capabilities include sensor and electronics integration—enabling smart orthopedic devices with motion tracking, compliance monitoring, and connected health features. We maintain tight-tolerance control over shell geometry, hinge mechanisms, reinforcement structures, variable durometer padding, and strapping systems—including custom adjustable braces for complex clinical needs. Our integrated approach ensures consistent performance in demanding load-bearing and mobility applications, including compression distribution, joint stabilization, flexion/extension control, moisture management, and all-day wear comfort.
Precision Component Extrusion
From quick-turn prototypes delivered in under 5 business days to full production scale, AOFIT extrudes high-performance thermoplastics and custom polymer blends into tight-tolerance components for orthopedic braces, supports, and rehabilitation devices. Capabilities include multi-durometer padding profiles, reinforced strapping cores, and rapid material qualification—all supported by continuous in-process monitoring to ensure consistency, biocompatibility, and mechanical reliability for load-bearing and patient-contact applications.
Medical Molding
From complex geometries to multi-shot and over-molding, AOFIT manufactures critical components for orthopedic braces and supports using engineered polymers and applying sophisticated tooling strategies. Precise process monitoring ensures repeatability, dimensional stability, and biocompatibility for components used in joint stabilization systems, load-distributing frames, and patient-contact interfaces—every part meeting the demands of ISO 13485 and FDA-regulated orthopedic devices.
Advanced Medical Textiles & Compression Technology
AOFIT integrates advanced 3D anatomical knitting and precision sewing to manufacture high-performance compression sleeves, braces, and soft goods. Our capabilities include gradient compression zones, integrated silicone padding, and moisture-wicking yarns to ensure targeted therapeutic support and superior patient compliance. Utilizing automated circular and flat-bed knitting technology, we achieve seamless transitions between stability and flexibility, providing all-day comfort for sports recovery and chronic edema management.
Medical Converting
AOFIT converts high-performance films, foams, adhesives, and specialty composites into precision components and finished products for orthopedic braces and supports—using die-cutting, laminating, island placement, and laser processing. Tight process control ensures consistent performance for patient-contact interfaces, cushioning layers, strapping systems, and wearable orthopedic technologies.
Production & Quality Systems
AOFIT’s in-house automation and test-engineering teams develop custom equipment for assembly, inspection, and functional testing of orthopedic braces and supports. These systems support tighter tolerances, reduced variability, and accelerated throughput—helping customers achieve consistent product quality and compliant, scalable manufacturing.
We also have engineers specializing in test equipment designed for device-specific failure modes. For example, our team has designed and built custom fatigue-testing equipment for structural orthopedic implants and load-bearing brace components—capable of reproducing mechanical loading conditions to evaluate long-term durability under simulated physiological stresses.
Similar custom rigs have been developed for tensile, torque, flexural, compression, and durability testing across a wide range of orthopedic supports and rehabilitation devices. All testing equipment built in-house is justified and validated for FDA compliance, ensuring that every test result meets regulatory standards.
Device Assembly & Kitting
All under one roof, AOFIT internally assembles multi-component orthopedic brace and support systems—from post-operative braces to custom orthotics and rehabilitation devices—using controlled environments, validated bonding methods, automated processes, and in-line inspection. Our vertically integrated operations streamline transitions from prototype to full-scale production, including sterilization management and final kitting, while maintaining full traceability and process robustness—ensuring every completed device is ready for clinical use.
Packaging & Sterilization Support
AOFIT designs and qualifies packaging systems that protect orthopedic brace and support integrity—including oxygen and moisture barriers—through sterilization, transit, and extended shelf life. Our expertise spans sterile-barrier materials, sealing, validation, and coordination with sterilization partners—ensuring regulatory-aligned, ready-to-ship product releases for every brace, support, and orthotic device we produce.
Supply Chain & Logistics
AOFIT’s global supply chain operations provide agile manufacturing options, integrated planning, and end-to-end logistics support for orthopedic braces, supports, and rehabilitation devices. We proactively manage raw material sourcing, regulatory compliance, and buffer inventory to significantly reduce lead times and ensure supply continuity. This robust infrastructure allows us to deliver a dependable and scalable supply for both high-volume programs and high-complexity orthopedic devices.
